Good for fNWA guys who want into SLC, bad for anyone already in SLC. It will probably look like the 320/90 swap where we saw about 80 SLC guys displaced to MSP. Probably be more SLC guys getting the boot to MSP with the ER conversion. We need that ER category to be bigger than the current 767 category and we need alot more ER slots in SEA.

If anyone in the delta training department is bored, I know a great way to pass the time. Call the new hires and give them class dates.:):):)

I'm going crazy waiting for a date or cleared to train call. (Interviewed mid July)

yeah i interviewed mid july and haven't heard much yet, has anyone else been told about the sept 6th class?

Have a friend who inteviewed mid July as well, & has also heard nothing. He has however had some papers mailed which he had to sign & return so I guess the wheels are still turning. Guess background checks are taking a while.

yeah i had a few of those snags as well, who would have thought the paperwork was the hardest part of it all?!

I feel for you guys. I only had to wait 4 days for a call to give me a class date. I was going nuts!!

I did however, have to wait 6 weeks to start class! :eek:

Hang on folks. If the economy maintains and nothing "bad" happens, Delta should hire a lot.
