And for the continued DR supporters or BoB's the Hawaiin announcement is another degradation of our JetBlue careers. ETOPS a 320 and do the same flying out of LAX. Do the same with a 321 and wait for the 330's to come in. Rather jetblue gives away more of our flying. Leadership will justify it as "developing a market" but in reality its much worse. There are those who will argue or compare this to cape air but this is very profitable flying we are handing over to other carriers. If "culture" was that great of a concern, which some are so concerned about saving, Jetblue would be doing everything possible to make sure our customer ride our airplanes.

Lake you're over the top. Sure, just ETOPS a 320 and presto Jblue kicks a$$ in the Hawaiian market. All of your scenarios of wages and how we're getting worked over are of the "armchair" variety. Please go back to FI w/50tard.

With all do respect, in one post you say things have changed at ALPA, pilots and management are working together negotiating in harmony. But on the other hand you say the Hawaiian Code Share is somehow stealing flying from B6 pilots, and we should ETOPS a 320, please. Hawaiian is flying non-stop from JFK to Hawaii. What equipment was ever in B6's business plan that could operate that flight. C'mon, you are proving my point with regard to legacy CBA ideas.
If you want to go from any other blue city to Hawaii you can connect via a JetBlue flight to LAX. This is good business, but somehow pilots are soo smart that we can force management to operate a certain way and buy a new aircraft type. Again labor trying to hamstring management into a business strategy...that type of CBA thinking will ruin the airline over time.

Happily giving away domestic flying. Ya see? It gets frustrating around here.

Did you do 10 years at a shrinking regional flying 900+ hours a year with no chance to upgrade? Don't confuse "happy to be here" with being "happy with substandard compensation". A guy most certainly has a right to be happy even if things need work. Take it from a guy with 7000 hours in the RIGHT seat of an RJ, there were plenty of us in the schoolhouse when I went through. They want better things too (everyone does, it's human nature).

Vacationing at Lake Alice?
It is certainly worthwhile for a visit, it all depends on how long you stay. If the numbers come out this morning (Q4 and full year 2011) are lackluster, then a lease at the lake might be in the future (I said lease, not buying property yet)
There were no major snow storms (minus the "not our fault" BDL flights), no major thunderstorm days, maybe one hurricane for 2011.
I know wall street can be finicky, but I hope the report is positive.
