So that 1140/year premium for the green plan...Is that number counting the 40% transition subsidy? The PVC email said $152 (semi monthly) Please tell me that's 76 bucks per paycheck and not 152/check. I find it confusing, but then I am a simple person. 152x12 is 1824/year. When JB stops giving the 40% subsidy, that will be my minimum premium/year? Plus deductible plus coinsurance. This is nuts. Are rampers/FA's expected to come up with that cash too?

This is company wide. Yes ramp, FA, Pilot, Mx... everyone. We're all the same in the bluethisphere.

Semi-monthly means twice a month.

$304/month for absolute crap coverage with a $2600 family deductable.

They keep telling us how great the Direct Relationship is when compared to a union, but in my 8 years here, I haven't seen it benefit me at all.

If you can afford to come here, make sure you vote for ALPA and a CBA as soon as possible.

Wow, that green plan is bad news. Being the cheapest and the default plan will cause many to be stuck with it. It will cause a lot of heartache to those who get sick and don't have thousands to throw at it. The difference between max out of pocket and max co-insurance is paramount. Blue plan for me I guess. Been here about a year, CBA...yes please. What does Delta and friends have as a deductible?

yep and if you complain about it you are a trouble maker in the blue juicers eyes. I hope it doubles next year under this DR so the juicers can keep paying and paying and paying. When that wallet is empty after junior takes a few trips to the doctor then and only then will these blue juicers get the point.

I wish you where right but after looking into it self insurance about 2 weeks ago it has gone sky high as well. Almost 800 per month for a family of four and guess what my tax attorney says because JetBlue offers health insurance you can't wright off that deductable if you choose to self insure. THe whole health care industry is skyrocketing without a CBA we are pretty much screwed. I am no fan off ALPA or unions in general but without a CBA we are pretty much taking whatever management throws at us.

So does anyone think that the DR will remain after the next union drive after this healthcare cost increase is forced upon us? I think management sees a union being voted in soon and they are implementing these plans to establish a "bargaining point". They will then give us a plan through CBA that is better than this one but is still crap. That's when the union bigwigs cry victory and have champagne.. Been there done that.. Pro cba for the record.

Hmmmm....it's almost like they want us to vote in a union?? Seems they are sending an indirect message. New below average insurance for 2013, rumors of no parity review/raise for this year, retirement issues. The company can't forecast accurate costs when it's subject to change yearly. Think about it, with a CBA the company would know exact costs for the duration of the contract. They may not want to say they support a union, but their actions really speak loud and clear.

Frankly I don't believe that they believe that we have to sack to do it.
