Your are correct. You did not miss anything, as it doesn't say Relative Seniority, although one could argue it is implied.
It also doesn't say DOH, nor does it say "Staple".

I have no dog in this fight, but I posted this because many seem to think
"ALPA" merger is something it is not.
Clearly the AAI MEC will fight for the best outcome for it's side as will SWAPA. That is to be expected.

I have posted previously that it matters not who acquires who, who has been more or less profitable or what individually you think is personally fair.

Most likely an Arbitrator will decide what is "Fair" and his decision will stand.
Don't get High Blood pressure over something you cannot control.

Again best wishes to all.

If you want to talk super bowl or other other shop stuff, start another thread.

Since I've been on APC since 2006, I have relative seniority over you (put your sense of humor hat on). No Johnny come lately here.

I think when you exceed the 3 posts a day average over a couple a years, your credibility decreases.
^^^ Guard police? ^^^

Sorry I didn't respond earlier, been busy playing with a 2 year old and watching the Super Bowl.

Now let's be fair, 800+ posts is commendable, especially since prior to the AAI merger there really wasn't anything going on at SWA other than flying point to point and then to a connecting opportunity non-hub, it's been boring has it not?

Now, frankly, why the bitterness? I thought it was all red roses and big smiles over there at SWA or is that just luvjockey thing?

I tell you what, I don't want you to be bitter but I realize it's probably too late in your career to make a switch to us but here's a little pick me up anyways, something that always seems to make Carl smile.

She's a beaut Clark.

Pretty much what I expected from you two.

Both "Forgot.." and "TSquare" replied immediately. Forgot tried to alibi something about the super bowl and the two year old, but still was able to tear himself away to the computer. You'll be over 6k before that kid is 3. Sweet!

Tsquare doesn't find me credible because of my username and avatar. God help the people who take checkrides from a dude like you (yeah, I've been an FE, get over it).

So you're reduced to making it about someone's number of posts? Stick to the point, ie the upcoming SLI. Delta/NWA guys have a little recent first hand experience with that. The overwhelming consensus seems to be relative seniority, modified for each airlines strengths. Sorta what the arbitrators settled for with DAL/NWA. Oh and gotta change my avatar, too polarizing

Cog, there is so much we could chose from. For instance:

Since you already had the F-16 theme going, how about Mr. F-16, Doug Masters?

or just an F-16?

Or

^^ it's so dumb it's funny.

But you can only do this because you have a sense of humor and fly a 767.

Really? That's not really worth responding too and you knew that.

But hey, responding to it gave me one more post. 5,534. Thanks!

I guess I should add a picture....

Probably the latter. And the first one is from probably the worst aviation movie ever made. Second is just a really cool photo! Oh and I finally called (and bet on) the right team in a Super Bowl.

Are you inferring a high school kid can't steal an F-16 and rescue his father based off a cassette tape recording? Next thing is your going to say is an F-14 can't spin out to sea....

But hey congrats on winning a bet. Still can't get over a friend of a friend who put $100 on Auburn winning the national title the day after Alabama won theirs. $15,000 payout.

I'm just surprised it was close, if it'd been only 3 then you'd have to give Vegas some credit. They got Auburn right, Auburn by 3 and they won with a FG as time expired.

The number of posts is more telling than the avatar.

But while you're at it, feel free to go back and review the posts by Forgot and TSquare and tell me how many of them have anything to do with the subject.

TSquare is lucky if he can get off a complete sentence. His posts are mostly, "He he he he..." or "C'mon guys, don't let this thread die.." or telling me that my opinion didn't matter because of my username and avatar. Click on his username and look at the lack of wisdom he's added to this thread. We are all dumber for having read his posts.

This thread ceased being useful a long time ago and has only been kept on life-support two DAL-SWA conflict junkies. Pull the needle out of the vein dudes.

I promise not to post if you guys go back to your families.

1 seat,

I'll be your Huckleberry. I've posted a number of substantive post on point and on subject in this thread that have not gone largely ignored, they have gone completely ignored.

I wish I had sat back to watch the show a long time ago, instead of trying to participate by having a thoughtful discussion.

I sort of admire Tsquare for having the wisdom to understand a long time ago that you guys will only hear what you want to hear, and that the real issues are the things you won't respond to. Not because you were told not to, but because you can't.
