Someone said that the problem is between 1 and 2 pm because of TSA shift change. I know this to be true, after 2pm there are ussually plenty of spaces. I think the GOAA is going to see a huge loss in revenue over a 1 hour problem, and Mr drapers refusal to address it properly, and I hope it to be true.

Don't know that DAL will be excluded from this - its been a news item in one of the base newsletters. I Imagine that DAL will have to continue to provide parking per the PWA, but they might have to look into a different lot for pilots or something. (The newsletter didn't specifically address anything, so talk to your CPO for details.)

Sadly, after talking to him myself I realized that Mr. Draper really could care less about the long term problems his short sighted solutions have caused. He is completely shut down to any type of compromise, in his mind he has fixed the problem and made his bosses happy.

Why in the world wouldn't they keep their revenue stream going by allowing us to park in the Red or Blue long term lots, or the always-empty South lot is beyond me! Typical gubment short-sightedness and indifference. Just wait 'till they're in charge of your health care, more of your retirement...etc!

Maybe we should flood the Mayor's office, or even Rep John Mica's office with our plight. After all, our airlines pay all kinds of $$ in gate leases, landing fees...etc. We definitely have skin in the game!

The last time I bought passes I got them through November. Just curious if anyone has asked if they can still use those passes or if we will be denied access to the lot even with a valid parking permit.

Default Mco parking solution

My Business is parking. I heard about the situation going on in Orlando. If enough pilots need parking I would be willing to pave a lot at mco for exclusive pilot parking. Assuming there are still enough pilots looking for somewhere to park we could do monthly fees as low as $40 a month. We appreciate the professionalism of the pilots and would be extremely accommodating. I need some feed back if I am going to take on the business venture. Would i have a market, and what would you expect from our service besides just parking?
