And the cost? Come on, you know the answer to that! Thank you everyone for your continued support of our site and forums.

Some of these snapshots don't tell the whole story.

Can we see some W-2's?? I would like to see some junior, mid range, and seniror W'-2's from the various pieces of equipment/fleet types, FO's and CA's.

The senior Captains at my airline make well over $25,000 a month for 72 hard hours after which overtime, at 1.5 times the hourly rate, kicks in. Soft hours are 90 a month, but we always reach the hard hour threshold long before the 90 hour soft threshold.

DING DING DING.........We have a winner.

Ex-Pat's are doing much better than mainline US Carriers (except SWA). At SWA a B-737 FO makes more than any legacy B-777 FO...

It would really help and yes I am extremely interested in becoming a Airline Pilot so if anyone will give me guidance that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Here ya go:

1. Why did you become an airline pilot? To follow my dream, the romance of aviation, to have 2 corvettes, 3 x-wives, 4 bad habbits, and 5 nervous breakdowns.

2. What do you enjoy most about being an airline pilot? Well, those 60 year old Flight Attendants are sure pretty hot. The 1995 wages combined with the dinosaurs make this a stellar career choice.

3. What's the hardest thing about your job? Working for aholes that want to out source my job to a bunch of pimply faced pukes at the regionals.

4. If you had it to do all over again what would you do? Well, selling used cars in Fargo North Dakota has probably got to be a more stable career path than this. I might stick with that, or that big diesel track driving academy that maverick and goose were talking about sounds rocking.

5. why does the pay stink? Because the pimply faced kids out of embry riddle keep taking our jobs, and because our union, which we pay over $3,000 a year, is too weak to stop the respctive managements from doing it.

6. What adivice would you give someone who wants to be an airline pilot? Go apply to Emirates. That's where the jobs will be in 20 years. Best to get on their seniority list while you are young.
