ATTN: MCO Commuters
Non-MCO based pilots who commute can fill out a survey Orlando International Airport (MCO) - NBC Parking Survey to help these people figure out a plan for parking for the commuters who were no longer allowed to park as of OCT 2011. ( Which we all know was for the need for more SPACE for the TSA shift changes )
I appreciate the fact they want to let us back in but honestly I think both of their (plans) are absolutely ridiculous and we shouldn't of been kicked out in the first place. 240$ up front for 6 months or 135$ for 3 months. I sent in a survey basically letting them know that both plans are awful and for that kind of money I would want at least a year. I don't commute every month but when I do I pay 30$ at the Plaza on Semoran.
For you MCO commuters lets try to see if we can get enough people to send in this survey and try to get something better worked out because this is absurd, and I also know there was a thread awhile ago with people who were concerned about this as well.

The airport authority at the MCO airport can kiss my rear end.
I wouldn't be surprise if some of them personally own some of the off property prkng spots. And this is just a boost for them.
I asked about the south lot and is too expensive to run shuttles. But they already do.
More trans-agency employees = more revenue due to more transit. (and they didn't plan for more employees. Please...
Like everything in Orlando, just a show.

I fired mine back immediately an crossed out that bulls*!t fee gouge. They miss our money. And want us to come back and give them more of it too. MCO doesn't need the money and they're not getting more of it from me. The airport is planning a 65M dollar baggage delivery upgrade. They want us to help fund it.
I also pointed out that at other airports like ORD (where I'm based) the Thousands Standing Around have their own parking lot and shuttle service that the tax payers fund for them. Kick them out of the lot, that would free up some space.

I think we can all agree it's a insult. They won't see a dime from me either. Honestly without crews, rampers,mx and agents people have no reason to even be at the airport. I'm one of the few who dream of a reality where all airline employees get parking at any airport irregardless.
