FAPA Lawsuit tossed to the curb
It's no surprise, but the meritless lawsuit against everybody they could think of was tossed out.

Don't have a dog in this fight. But "without merit" and "merit less" are the same thing. "Dismissed" and "Tossed to the curb" are nearly the same thing.
Not sure why anyone would read this headline as anything other than a statement of fact using popular vernacular.

The whole problem is about fighting dogs. The OP's intent was to poke sticks at FAPA, not to inform.
Otherwise the title would have been something like:
FAPA Lawsuit Dismissed
Any FAPA/ IBT thread is destined to degrade in to mindless/pointless bickering quickly enough. It doesn't need to start that way with a purposely provocative title.
