If you are requesting info about Preferential Bidding Sysytem - PBS is a wonderful thing. I only have positive things to say about a scheduling system that allows a wide latitude of days off and specific types of trips versus the old "hard bid line" schedules.
If you are not comfortable in english, write your request in spanish, I'm sure there are pilots here whom are spanish-fluent.

A mi no me gusta nuestro sistema de PBS aqui (Delta.) Deja que la compania requiera menos pilotos. Es mas eficaz para la compania pero la mayoria de los pilotos prefiere el sistema vieja.
Solamente el primero 5% de la lista, mas o menos, beneficia de este sistema porque PBS hace sus horarios primero. Los otros reciben basura en mi opinion.
Nos manda mas preguntas especificas si necesitas mas informacion pero no se lo recomiendo. Buena suerte!

At Delta we use Navtech PBS. I think it has received very positive reviews from pilots. It takes a month or two to really understand how to bid properly. At the time Carmen was vastly inferior to Navtech, but I think they have upgraded their software.

We are in Colective bargain with Copa Airlines, we propposed the PBS and they agree but at them manner....we are loocking for tips on how to avoid the disagreements between pilots and management. What are the clauses or provisions to negociate before building this great step on PBS.
