Default USAPA in a US/AA merger

Everyone is talking about whats going on with the AA side of things, but what is the current stance that USAPA has on the deal? What is their plan (contractually, SLI, job security, etc) going forward with a merger?

And, before it starts, everyone knows about the fighting. Lets try to keep this objectively to what is in store for the US Airways pilots.

I dont know the status of the USAPA contract negotiations and all, but I would take it as a slap in the face that Parker can whip together a DAL+ contract that AA's 3 labor groups all agreed upon. Parker is motivated to please the AA labor, but will he throw his own labor groups under the bus in order to accomplish that? Could get real ugly

But, will US Airways pilots be offered the same deal? Immediate pay increases, furlough protection and all?

5000 and change USAir pilots... 8000 and change AA pilots.... I'd say APA will become the bargaining agent by a landslide.

I believe you're 100% correct. I moreso mean, prior to the deal being finalized... what is USAPA doing for its pilots and what is their plan?

Obviously, at some point, the pilot group will become one, under APA leadership.

Usapa is permanently parked by the NMB and has been convicted of an illegal job action, as a result there is an federal injunction over usapa. Usapa was not included in any of this as management does not have any relationship with usapa.

So what does that mean for US Airways pilots? Furlough fodder? Shrunk into non-existance during the fence period?

Which will go away when all these fools with dollar signs in their eyes sign on the dotted line for DAL+ %3. Everyone seems so giddy on the West side to get rid of USAPA they can't see the forest through the trees
