All I can say is wow! Do you guys live under rocks.

The APA term sheet specifically mentions the AWA contract. Including vacation. Yes, our vacation is better than the APA's. I know you have been brainwashed to think everything west is bad, but we actually have a great contract. But of course USAPA is so smart, instead of building upon our contract, they decided to start with a blank sheet of paper. Brilliant. That worked out really well. I think they have like 2% of the sections closed out, they are parked, they have an injunction against them for illegal job actions and have no further negotiations scheduled. Awesome.

The only thing that is irrelevant is USAPA.

How many sections of the US Air contract did the APA cherry pick?

I actually feel sorry for you guys. Do you have any means of communicating with, or sharing information with each other. I think we west pilots have nearly as much information as the American pilots. As soon as one of our pilots gains access to information it is shared with everyone. You obviously haven't seen any of the information being put out by the APA to its members. That is just plain sad, but explains how you guys are so easily manipulated by your own so called leaders. If you are in an informational vaccum I guess you will go along with, or believe in anything. Sad, but it explains a lot.

Hey DA, OUR leaders are YOUR leaders. Whether you like it or not!! You guys out west got the warm and fuzzy on this merger? Beware of unintended consequences, you might not like what the final outcome is. Just saying you westies make it sound as if you're in bed with the APA.
What to expect from a bunch of amateurs........Pathetic

Always good to start a post with an insult. Your leaders are not my leaders and never will be. They have led you nowhere, and I will have no part in their attacks and deceptions. Warm and fuzzy? I think not. We educate ourselves, our leaders educate us, and we educate one another. We are not surprised by final outcomes. But I will admit we have been very surprised by your pilot groups lack of professionalism, ineffectiveness, and complete failure to accomplish anything. It is quite obvious that US Airways has no respect for USAPA and neither do the labor unions at American. We aren't in bed with the APA, but it sounds like you guys aren't even in the same neighborhood. I can only come to the conclusion that USAPA is irrelevant at this point.

AOL has promised to fight for our legal rights. They have done their job.

What do you think the surprise will be?

The latest fantasy all over the east cockpits is that the west is being spun off to help the merger gain doj approval, that's what he is getting at. You would think that after they have lost evry single court case and every single arbitration they would learn.

Sweet. Being spun off still gets me away from USAPA.
