Any other thoughts?
Have stayed there quite a few times with family and never had any problems. Went outside the resorts with no problems either.

Have stayed on the strip in Cancun a lot also and no problems, take the bus downtown and always treated pretty well.

Like any place just be heads up is all.

I swore off tequila years ago, and again last weekend

Thanks for the laugh.

Last time I layer over in GDL they kept us close to the airport. We used to stay downtown and I always enjoyed. Lately, however, it's become more dangerous. Not sure where we're staying these days.
