DALPA's new slogan: "We've heard you loud and clear! We just choose to ignore you because you're wrong, and we'll spend a ton of your dues money to prove it to you!"

I hope everyone realizes what a huge giveback just the greenslips alone will be. With the amount of retirements ahead, the company will be over a barrel with regards to staffing for many years to come. Losing greenslips will save the company untold millions.

The Everyday Price Index is running about 8%. It tracks what we as consumers face in rising costs. That makes the pay increase a net loss in less than 2 years. Even if you use the 3.1% annual inflation the Gov reports, its still a net loss by the end of year 4.

Pathetic.

We need better representation. ALPA ain't getting it done.

The 20% trigger remains. It's below that which was cut from 15% to 10%.

I feel very embarrassed for our reps and DALPA. They got absolutely schooled by the Harvard MBA's. Labor Negotiation Textbooks are being rewritten all over the planet!! Hopefully these guys can fly the @#$%^ outta the plane when they return to the trenches with the line dogs. They will need some sort of diversion to keep the subject off Dalpa's Epic Failure of 2012.

As the TA proves once and hopefully forever...pilots do not belong in the same room as these Harvard MBAs when it comes to business negotiations.

So should I start filling out my application for one of the Delta 70 Seat Regional Carriers now or wait till this passes, they change the staffing levels, and I'm on the street.
