Why do Delta pilots have a double breasted uniform? Answer: To hold us up due to our lack of a backbone. Spineless jellyfish....

You know, this part really cracks me up. The Company has a problem;

THEY bought TOO MANY 50 Seat RJ's, and it's going to cost them money to park them.

Now they want US to FIX their PROBLEM...by allowing them to buy more 76 seat RJs!!

AND...in return for that, they are willing to...CUT OUR PROFIT SHARING by 35%??!!

AYFKM??

That's pretty much the way I see it. If you vote yes on what this seems to be you have no brain.

Yes but in their defense they were willing to give us lower staffing requirements and reduced profit sharing. Wait, what?

Dont forget, for this limited time offer only, they are willing to change the work rules so they can fly reserve pilots up to 99 hours/per month further reducing pilots staffing. It's a win/win.....they win twice

Exactly, why do the pilots have to bail out management again? There is a reason they want to cut our profit sharing. It is going to be much larger this year and the next 3 years.

And in my little mind, every cent of the first Billion, every year, belongs to the PILOTS!

Why?

Because:

When the DL South pilots took the first pay cut, TO STAY OUT OF BANKRUTPCY, it was 32.5%, which at that time, our MEC said was worth $1Billion to the company.

In addition to that, we ended up losing our DB retirement plan AND took another pay cut, 15%, to get DIP financing, to get out of bankruptcy.

And that's just the 7,000(+) south pilots, now add in the cuts the North pilots took, and you see, every cent of the first $Billion, since 2004, came directly out of OUR POCKETS.

Acording to LM, we have 'recovered' that 15% pay cut, since exiting Bk, but what about that first Billion?? Where'd that go?

It went to pay down the Debts management ran up, of course. So now that WE have paid down Management's Debts., they are going to (finally) start making $Billions...so what do they want to do?

Pay us back?

FK NO!

They want to cut our Profit sharing by 35%!

On that one issue alone, I can vote NFW to this POS.

I want My MONEY back!
