The point of most posts is to inform people of the reality of JetBlue.

However, if you need PIC time, stay and upgrade where you are. Otherwise you will be waiting 10-15-20 years to upgrade to get the time. If you just want total time becuase you already have the PIC you need, then why not fly a A320 or E190 at JetBlue till you get a real major airline job.

JetBlue is just a layover on your progress to the real major airlines. It is a stop you might wan to bypass if you can.

Just my opinion......

Ok, slightly off-topic, but what sort of flight kit is required if you're on the E-190?

Thanks.

Okay, seriously, what documents do you guys carry? Is a full flight kit required?

jetblue issued laptop. They give you a laptop bag, but you can use anything you want. Done and done.

Jepps are ship kits, so they stay in the plane and we dont have to do jepp updates

Just curious..........

Aren't you more interested in the specifics of the compensation and benefits?

I've read all the rhetoric on here, and I've discussed the pay/benefits with a buddy of mine who has been there since 2007.

I was asking about the kit because someone I know is selling theirs, and it's nicer than my old one. Sounds like its not needed though.

Thanks.

In that case I will wish you good luck. Hopefully you won't have to stay long.
