Hey I'm not the one who sold off all my assets in Phoenix and already moved everything to DFW haha. Doug Parker is all in on this thing.

Classes have been scheduled through February or March. I believe they will continue beyond. Classes are filled a little over a month out from start date.

After many, many applications trying, I just got called yesterday for a December 2 class! Interviewed early last week. I can't say enough good things about the whole interview process, and everyone was extremely friendly. Excited to be joining a class act, and a place I think will be the best for a career for years to come.

~6500 TT, 1000 hrs 121 PIC, 5800 Part 121.

Congrats PSU, you got in the good way which is awesome. I love the usair interview process, short and sweet, and I hope I get that call before AA. The AA process is grueling, I hope they adopt the Usair philosophy. You win out also because in the SLI, new hires will likely go DOH, so you'll be senior to all AA new hires

Thanks guys! I'm looking forward to being part of a place I will call my home for the rest of my career. And awesome that I get to see the merger start from day 1!

LIOG41- I am a legacy ExpressJetter. I'll miss the great people, but I think a lot of us are heading over to US Airways anyway! And I'm looking forward to all the new people I'll meet. Are you former XJT?

Briefed today in Indoc Airways is planning to bring an additional 118 pilots on property in the first part of 2014 alone. The numbers after that will continue to increase. Look for "combined hiring" soon.

Also, most of us going to the Bus already have our ground school/sim training schedules and will be done by the end of Dec and to the line as early as the first part of Jan. They are pushing us through quickly and our class size is 27. The current plan is for the merger to be finalized the first week of Dec and thus the MOU is officially in place. Everyone will receive back-pay (those to whom it applies). To my understanding, that's a pretty significant chunk of change for many.
