US Airways Calls

Is there anyone else who got the email from the hiring department in July and the "keep warm" from that app window that hasn't been called? They said the process could take several weeks but I'm assuming they aren't calling at this point...

Can't speak for the guys posting above, but one friend of mine interviewed in November, and he's been applying for well over a year, if not longer. I really think it's still a crapshoot.

So you're sayin there's a chance! I will just bear and grin my 30 minute flights until someone comes calling.

I'm not sure but it probably varies widely depending on your background. I wouldn't necessarily think hours is all they really care about....

Based on the people I know, and me, I think around 6000-8000 TT and around 3000 TPIC. But there are always either ends of those curves.

I have an interview next month. Quals; 1,200 civ, 3,900 mil time with IP/EP quals, 2 type ratings. Not a lot of hrs considering the wealth of experience out there. I consider myself very lucky to get the call, super lucky. Good luck to all!
