A year ago there was a UAL pilot who left Airways after the first week of systems. This career FO had no common sense.
He handled the whole thing quite poorly and grossly misrepresented his recommending pilots and OBAP.
I am willing to speculate that he may be one of the reasons why USAir does not hire first officers, but seeks captains who are more invested in decisions to the change airlines.

Thanks, I know a couple AA guys, plus a few DAL and SWA pilots too. I'm really looking forward to the interview...and hopefully, eventually flying for US Airways.

While the US/aa merger has uncertainties I think with the current managment and opertional issues at ual I wouldn't leave to go to there if offered.
But back on topic. Now with the merger complete any pilots hired at either us or aa will be placed on the combined seniority list doh?

If I was offered the job, I'd accept it and not look back. I think any of the legacies will have their plusses and minuses. DAL, UAL and AA will all have similar pay scales eventually. I don't have any other interviews at this point, but since US Airways is known for taking a long time to give a candidate the news, it's realistic that someone like me could interview there, and get called, interview and then offered a job at another airline before US ever got back to me.
There are good things about US/AA, and one of the biggest draws for me...living in LIT, having the potential to commute to DFW. I know a couple AA pilots in my Reserve unit, they've told me that the DFW A320 will probably go fairly junior. Only time will tell, but that's what I'll have my sights set on in the long run.
