2 of my 3 letters were the signed originals (signed in blue ink) and one of the interviewers actually did comment that he was impressed by it. Not sure if it is a deal breaker/helper, I have my theories though.

There's no way I would show up with an unsigned LOR. No way.

So based on this thread we know:
  • Those without any internal recs are hired
  • Those with internal recs are hired
  • Those who don't bring any LORs are hired
  • Those who do bring LORs are hired, and they have been signed and unsigned
  • Those who update their resume are called/hired
  • Those who do not update their resume are called/hired
  • Those with high flight time are hired
  • Those with low flight time are hired
  • Checkairman are hired
  • Regular line pilots are hired
  • Military pilots are hired
  • Corporate pilots are hired
  • Airline guys are hired
  • Guys who did interview prep were hired
  • Guys who did not do interview prep were hired
  • Those with volunteer work have been hired
  • Those who have not done any volunteer work have been hired

So did I miss anything?

Which is your call. I had some FedEx to me and were damaged. I copied them, I also used emailed LORs and also had signed. I however know a dozen plus hired with unsigned emailed LORs....

How you present things I think matters the most....

Has anyone been hired who didn't interview? Or didn't apply?

That would impress me.

Default US Airways Calls

I just got a call by airways last night from a window I applied to almost a year ago. In the interim, I got hired by jet blue and live in base for jetblue and my guard unit. I'm only 33, so pretty young to get on at us airways but relatively old at jetblue.

Thoughts on going to us airways and commuting or staying at jetblue and being home based and likely junior for much longer? I don't really want to accept an interview if I have no desire to accept it, and obviously an interview to an offer is a big difference from what I have now.
