I didn't hear about the 757s either, so that's news to me. But the season adjustments of the euro flying always causes displacements off the 767.

From what I understand, it's always been that way, here. If you're super junior on the 767 or the 330, you're seasonal help.

I believe there were 40 open positions in PHX on their last bid. I think around 20 or so have been awarded. I could be wrong, though.

So why again can't third listers "bid" over to the west side instead of newhires being placed there? Everyone is working under the same certificate, just seems like something that should be allowed.

As you say, it'll all be metal neutral by then. It is former west 757s N#s that are being parked (the old ones that don't have winglets), but most of the reductions in flying will come from east hubs. PHX 757 flying will be done more with former east 757 N#s.

That's the million dollar question man...I wish we had concrete info in this and if pbS is the hang up or SLI.
