Why take a chance risking something so important on a seemingly trivial issue a less sympathetic management could use as an excuse for something.
Good luck in the process.

That's all I did, make a couple of points, so I think I'm still bobbing in the shallow end. It would have died long ago, but apparently it made others angry......why, I don't know. I understand YOUR point though and your experience, but it is possible others may have a far different experience.
Regarding the response to your posts, it could very well be the way you come across as a pompous a$$. FYI it's just a trend I've noticed.

Your "observations" are anything but, when it comes to me. How do you know I didn't successfully complete a major airline interview process ?
There ARE pilots out there who DID do that and for a multitude of reasons may not have started or completed new-hire training. Some carriers furloughed before one could start class, you know....and in some cases complete it. The goals and concepts of the personal (personality) portion of interviewing haven't changed much in 30 years. We used plenty of TMAAT type questions back then too. The technical portion of airline pilot interviewing is simple demonstration of competency in your field and that's a universal application, just different for any given field. As for why I left that job (in my 20's)..........ahh, gee dude........they had no airplanes. We all know plenty of characters who demonstrate themselves to be someone we wouldn't want to work with and to me, you seem to be a perfect example of the fallibility of the interview process (and it IS fallible, you know). I can only wonder what technique you used to fool US Airways in your new-hire job interview.
Anyhow, I thought you had more credibility when you called me a "little maggot" and implied that I didn't deserve my job.....certainly no less. A few others saw at least SOME merit in the issues I simply pointed out (which were neutral and attacked no individual or group). It's too bad a few of the usual Usapian suspects had to crawl out from under their rocks and turn that neutrality into yet another excuse to begin their next siege.
How sad. Predictable, yet still sad. It's as if you guys don't know how NOT to attack.

Oh gee, another bukkake party is being thrown for me by the forum Usapians.
It's tough to be perceived as a nice guy when one is constantly crapped on by a certain segment of pilots. Now that some of you guys have successfully jerked off on me yet again, perhaps it's time for YOU to give it a rest ?

Oh well.
Time to end the hijack and let's give this thread back to new applicants (which is where I wanted to keep it).

[QUOTE=Hueypilot;1618952] "After you get hired you can be rebellious and independent"
Not a good idea, not a good idea at all!
If you are anything other than reliable, standard and compliant you will be tossed in your first year.

[QUOTE=cubguy;1619118]Ok I should've qualified that with "after your probation ends", but you get my point. Hard to get hired if you walk in to the interview with the attitude that says "I'm smarter than you and I'm gonna do whatever is in my best interest because I'm not a kool-aid drinker".
