We've had plenty leave early at Delta. Age 70 is unlikely as it would not match up with ICAO standards. So is anything over 65.

At FDX we have been told that the average out is around 62.

For what it's worth, I retired from DAL this past Sept at 62yrs 10 months. The RMA was definitely a deciding factor for me.

The best part is when these forcibly retired airline guys come fly part 135 at my company. Here i am at 35 years old babysitting some old guy who should be out playing golf and enjoying his golden years instead of flying some crappy trip into Teterboro at 1am. Quite a sad situation. Also, if i have to hear " thats not how we did it at the airlines" one more time, i am gonna jump out of a window.
