Right, and the US airlines are the only ones who pay ridiculous amount of taxes...

Crappy product, old airplanes, nonexistent customer service, nonexistent amenities, nonexistent vision beyond stock market price, nonexistent focus.... those are just a few of the reasons why I choose to take my Business Class travel elsewhere. And yes, I'm a full fare passenger...

Oh, and it's not retarded for a part 91 guy to go onto a site called "Airline Pilot Forums" and scrawl a bunch of short-sighted nonsense encouraging the eventual outsourcing of all international airline flying, so we can end up like those poor SOBs at Qantas.

You. Are. Awesome.

Qantas is not doing well. The 400k they were making on the whale is soon to come to an end. But it is the pre-clearance fault, too bad ALPA wasn't there to help.

I know the culture of accountability and admitting mistakes no longer exists, in this country, at the individual level nor the corporate level aka Big Legacy Airline Management. "Our customer service sucks, we need to improve" will never be mouthed. Of course, is Hurricane Sandy's fault, Qantas fault, SWA fault, Amtraks fault (for taking airline pax), etc it is somebody's fault that (insert legacy airline here) is ranked poor by the traveling public. Now it is CBPs fault. But its never our fault.

you might try Breakfast Blend get off the Dark Roast

its gonna be ok... try this see if it helps...good luck, as Virgin America, SWA, JetBlue, continue to put the customer first, and are doing well (as best as they can in this business) financially. Yes amazing concept.

Virgin America is doing well financially?

I'm not sure what any of this has to do with the US opening up an immigration pre-clear at an airport that hardly any US passengers use though.
