Some half wingers I'm flying with didn't sit much RSV at all. Just a few months and they were holding a line. And with 1st year pay comparable, and 2nd year pay higher than anything they could make at the Regionals, seems like they made a pretty decent choice!

Stagnation at AA? You must be joking! Average CA is 55-58, average FO is 45-48. Based on retirement alone there will not be any stagnation for the next 20 years. AA has maybe 200 pilots under the age of 35 and 600 or so under 40. The only stagnation you'll see is when all the young guys start holding heavy metal.

So, if my addition for AA pilots is correct:

57% will retire in the next 10 years

89% will retire in the next 20 years.

The other majors are not too far behind. --- Just kind of takes your breath away.

Yes sir! I bet a lot of guys will leave before the age 65. Should be pretty interesting.

All a moot point if Age 65 changes or goes away?
