I am holding the shiny pamphlet as I type this. I have read it. It will easily pass. That doesn't mean it's a respectable deal.

The USAPA MOU roadshow is now available for viewing on You Tube.

Had USAPA been defeated and adults been allowed to run the pilot labor show at US, the TA would have been closed out, a vote taken and likely passed. We would be in a much stronger position to negotiate the terms of an MOU and have the unity to turn it down a few times and yield significant improvement.

Alas, no.

Now we have the senior F/Os that ginned up USAPA in the first place pushing the MOU (Jamie in PHL, can ya hear me?) who have secured their upgrade at the expense of 5000 other pilots and want to get some money to go with their shiny 4th stripe, even if it costs some of their fellow pilots.

The strange bedfellows are those who know all too well the consequences of allowing USAPA to be birthed combining with the self serving scumbags that brought this on fighting against even more corrupt guys whose corruption is eclipsed only by their delusion and deny that there are any consequences to their reckless actions.

So yes it's a bunch of delusional and inept old men with a Fisher Price toolbox who allowed a lien to be put on your property while he "fixed it".

USAPA - Keep your expectations low.

the 4.5% is on top of book rates for all except the 190. The 190 is 4.5% on top of current rates
There are actually many things that I do not like in the MOU. If we were voting on a typical contract, I would probably vote no. But there is one big problem in this case: APA has already voted YES! Which means there is no more negotiating. I wish we had voted first so that we still could have leverage, but APA has painted us into the corner by apporving it. Now the question is simply, do we want to be part of it?

If that is all you have then you don't have all the information.

Not rhetorical at all, here ya go: MOU One would cause me to vote no.

What would it take for you to vote yes?

Perhaps, we will never know. I guess I could add "Had the west given something as small as a 3 year fence..........". But again we will never know so we deal with what we have.

WAF/Os never disappoint.

You're probably right. It's more of a book then a pamphlet, but fair enough.

My Opinion... YES is the right and most logical choice to vote

PSSST, You aren't being given a choice. That choice was given away when you voted for USAPA.
