Default Delta internal Comm

Just curious, why does Delta use a picture of an E-170/190 in most of internal company communication? I'm just looking at the cover of the "Rules of the Road". I noticed the same picture on the walls in airports around the system.

Is management a little out of touch here or just clueless? Embraer's represent job outsourcing to most Delta employees so I think it's a little odd.

Nope. 744 more often than not. It's the clueless press that uses pictures of RJ's in articles about DAL

Astro,

I looked at what you are talking about and it would look to me that he picture is a 737-800. I spent way to much time this morning looking at different pictures and angles but the doesn't have the knob on the belly near the tail or the landing lights where they are in the picture. the 737 does.

DALMD88,

You are correct sir. My apologizes to Delta and anyone who wasted time comparing the two...that is in fact a 737. Got up pretty early today, maybe I should have held off my post until I'd had my first cup of coffee (crankenstein).

For comparison I found a pretty cool shot of the underside of a 737-800 taken by someone standing on the beach in St. Maarten (under the approach path of the airport).

Its because the ERJ-175 is the future of Delta. And mainline everywhere. Except not at mainline.

I didn't realize the press put up those advertisements with E175s on the billboards around Atlanta.

I believe he said articles, & not billboards.

No, I'm not denying they exist. I was simply stating that Fly4hire said the media is who messes up and puts pics of the E175 in articles when covering a story about mainline.

The adds do exist, and their purpose is to promote 2 class configuration RJs. I too have seen them jetways.
