Yep, me too. Their support dept say they are working on it. Still not fixed yet though.

If I recall from last time, I remember them closing and reopening the job posting several times. Maybe the system will only accept so many applications for each posting, so they have to keep opening new ones.

Because most folks are in a similar job paying the same money......

I am willing to bet 99.9% of the applicants won't mind scraping by on SWA wages.

Got the apply again email today. Maybe they are trying to spread things out a bit alphabetically or something. On to apply on SWA site now...

Hey no way you guys should scrap it up. Withdraw from consideration immediately, if not sooner, and Ill go ahead and bite this bullet for you.

I'm really happy SWA opened this hiring window, especially considering that it was a pretty big surprise to me and most of my buds who are trying to get hired. Do I want to sit reserve out of OAK for 2+ years? Heck no, but I'd venture that most of us here didn't think SWA would open a hiring window in September 2013, so now I'm supposed to listen to those very same people who say I'll be the end of any SWA hiring?

That said, I don't have a type so I'd definitely be the token non-type guy they interview just so they say they do it. I'd love a phone call but I haven't positioned myself as well as I could have for this opportunity. At worst at least 200 people who would've been competition for me elsewhere will be off the market .

EDIT: BTW, just submitted my resume using their resume wizard, site is up and running.

That's a good way to look at it. LOTS of sperm swimming towards that single, Southwest egg. Sorry for the visual.

Curious, anyone know how far up the list you have to be to hold a line? What's the difference between most junior vs. most senior base.

SWA runs 8% reserve per the contract. The months of hire for the most junior line holders are below. I just looked at who is 92% in the respective domicile.

OAK FEB 2012

PHX JAN 2012

LAS JUNE 2011

HOU JAN 2011

MCO JAN 2011

DEN AUG 2008

DAL JULY 2008

BWI JUNE 2008

MDW JULY 2008

ATL NOV 2004
