None as far as getting hired...I attended OBAP once and have two pilot friends at UAL but never used these resources as far as getting hired. Never failed any checkrides, clean record. I think it was my undergrad education that they liked the most because that was a long topic of discussion during the interview. They asked me why I didn't go work on Wall Street and earn much more money, I simply told them I wanted to fly. Overall, very pleasant experience. I'm very happy because I was getting ready to apply to the Regionals for some 121 experience. Hope this helps,
On another note, they had a 23 year old United Flight Ops intern interviewing also, not sure if he got hired or not. I'm not the youngest they hired so far.

I thought the same, just for inspiration, I'm not the first young guy they hired and I certainly won't be the last.

Congrats, I hope you are able to enjoy the ride and not let others get you down. I have a few friends at United and they all enjoy it, just try not to commute if you can help it.

You went to Penn? Why are you wasting your time as an airline pilot? Regardless, congrats!

Well....to arrive at 24 years old with 2500 TT. Must have started flying at 16 and even then would have had to fly 300+ hours per year to get to those kind of hours. Either that or fly 1000/year for a few years right after college. Must really want to be a pilot to accrue so many hours by such a young age. Life is good.
