Dude...congrats. But you just posted this in the "Major" section. Then again, I don't think there is a "Who's been hired" in the Regional section. 73% ATP written and 17 internal recs? Sweet!

Well, I put this in the AS thread, but I'll put it here too:
CJO from AS 06/03,
10,000+ TT, (all civ)
9000 pt. 121
4600 PIC turbine
15+ yrs QX
Five internal LOR's
Retired ANG enlisted
A couple of internal meet & greets
Oshkosh "job fair"
They had an interview group w/ 14 QX CA's, took 13 of us.
Enormous sense of relief, feel like I've just won the lottery. Compared to the big three, they are tiny. (OMG, no more commuting; drive to work?!)

Reading all these cjo's it's pretty clear that those over 40 with over 8k hours (for example) who happened to be laid off from whoever in the last 5-10 years and have heaps of intl 121 time are shinola out of luck and might as well apply as a Walmart greeter. Can't tell you how many guys I know that got screwed out of a job during the lost decade. Congrats to those getting hired today.
