Without question these (this) is a serious issue and has many implications.... short and long term...
As a Delta pilot, looking forward will be key.... short term we have a squabble and it will work itself out....
Long term we as a profession have a bigger fight... MUCH BIGGER...
As a son of a Merchant Marine...... I can say we better get behind a group that is prepared and equipped to handle what lies ahead....Whether you love em like em or hate em........ they maybe the only chance we have with the time left....
Fighting amongst ourselves with our heads down is pure craziness.....
Let's stop with the distractions and move forward to protect why we are all here! Our Jobs!!!

In C66, the Chairman is [...]-[.......] the two other elected reps over his political ambitions, and that is wrong. I don't support him, to be honest, but I expect him to win. It's one thing to have honorable guys look a political contest to a more adept politician, and quite another to lose to a dishonorable person.

Anyway, The CA Rep in NYC is talking out of 2 sides of his mouth simultaneously and he has throughout his term.
He's saying he's about "bottom up" "communications" "transparency" "member driven".
Instead he's preventing communication, depriving the members of the perspective of the longest seated guy at the MEC and purposely delaying Constitutionally protected communications until AFTER he gets people to vote for him.
But I knew who I would vote for when he didn't buy 1 beer for me as a new hire.
