JB October 29 Interview date

I hear ya. The reality is that theyll be easily replaced by regional guys like me who dont have your perspective yet. Ive hated the unions that Ive been a part of in 2 airlines and Its so much better here than where I came from. For most guys who are new, this is the case. I do realize that my tune could change very quickly however. Good luck to all-it'll get interesting soon.

That's what we hear, yes. And they said 100 in jan/feb. So either 3 really big classes or 4 still big ones. I think almost everyone in dec 5th was a September interview. Most got the call a little over two weeks before class, a few were called last minute, I assume as replacements. Good luck! First two days have been pretty impressive by the way.

Thats because its supposed to be better. It sounds like you are new to JB, welcome, I hope you enjoy your time here and make it a better place. However, please remember you are now at a MAJOR and should be treated and compensated as such. You seem like a smart guy though, you will see the light soon enough!

I contacted Sterling about the status of my background check. They are still waiting for a PRIA report from a corporate operation I flew for years ago. Would this prevent me from getting a call for the next class, or is this one of those situations that leads to a delayed passing of "phase 2" after being called for training?

Keep in mind that while your ALPA regional experience is real it's not necessarily applicable to Jetblues or a majors airlines situation. The nature of the relationship between a major airline and it's pilots group is substantially different than that of a regional pilots with its airline and the major airline it is contracted to fly for.
