As to your last paragraph, what else do you suggest? Communication was lacking. So more emails and letters were provided. That was not acceptable. So Pilot Unity Building events were provided. But those were just a booze cruise, and a waste of money. Unacceptable. So now hotel visits are provided, where our pilots are free to talk or not talk as they please. And now that's not good enough. So what do you suggest? That DALPA ignore the pilots flying through AMS, CDG, NRT, etc? Or just not communicate with the pilot group at all?

The suggestion box is available. Please submit your suggestion.
Here is one. Don't waste our due$ money sending special project folks, on FPL none the less, overseas on a paid trip to sit around the hotels/bars and approach pilots there.

And what % of the group will you see there?

Pilot unity events are far less distasteful on the spending our due$ money scale.

So you prefer PUBs? Then what shall DALPA do for those members who are unable to attend? Many work during the events.

What % of the pilot group will DALPA see in NRT, AMS, & CDG? A considerably large one. But I think you know that.

Stupid yes, but crying foul, no. Lee Moak, by sending the letter to DALPA and then them distributing it basically insulted half the pilot group further driving a wedge and alienating them.
How can you state that? Are you certain that every card submitted to DPA is active? Or that every pilot that submitted a card still does or ever did fully support DPA?

Also, do you know for certain that every DALPA member interpreted the "scourge" comment to be directed at the individuals, rather than the idea?

Yes I meant CA, but mistakenly typed FO.

Airways 320 crew $210 per hour
Delta 7ER CA $213 per hour.
Delta 767/330 CA $241 per hour
Delta 747/777 CA $255 per hour

Nice try Johnso.

Apples to apples. A320 to a320

Not our wide-body to their narrow. Come on, really?

That is the best you can do.

Ok, here we go. Wide body to wide body.

USAirways 767 capt. $144
USAirways 767 f/o. $ 85
________

Total $ 229

Delta 767 capt. $212

Yes really. You're ok with a Delta B757/767 CA making $16 less per hour than a Airways B767 CREW?

And a Delta 7ER CA makes $213. Check your contract.

That is when they give it to the pilots without an endorsement or vote by the MEC either way.

You know, kinda like Hawaiian did with their first crappy TA during 1113 that they put out for a vote without an endorsement. Trusted the pilots to decided without a sales job.

The one that was ultimately rejected prior to receiving their decent, as compared to our, 1113 TA.

You're comparing it to a BK contract?

Sure, it would appear to most that it took more balls to do that in 1113 than it would have to do so in plain old section 6

Well.....1113 TAs generally involve pay cuts. C2012 gave raises and improvements. Big difference.

No one said anything about being ok with that.

You got the bull $h!t flag for wildly wrong assertions, again.
