then the rest of us, have to explain to the the FAA what is and isn't true when they try and make changes that effect all of us.....

TOOLs? jetblue pilots.

Since you don't know the definition.

1pro·fes·sion·al

adjective \prə-ˈfesh-nəl, -ˈfe-shə-nəl\ : relating to a job that requires special education, training, or skill
: done or given by a person who works in a particular profession
: paid to participate in a sport or activity

And if you need to know what a profession is.
pro·fes·sion

noun \prə-ˈfe-shən\ : a type of job that requires special education, training, or skill

And since you can't remember your own code of ethics.

• He will remember that to his neighbors, friends, and acquaintances he represents both the profession and ALPA, and that his actions represent to them the conduct and character of all members of the profession and ALPA.

An Air Line Pilot the honor of his profession is dear, and he will remember that his own character and conduct reflect honor or dishonor upon the profession

I would say your BS posts reflect poorly upon you.

TOOL!

See I can call you that be cause I am not a member of ALPA and therefore( by your definition) unprofessional.

Too bad JB pilots don't understand this... besides CoE doesn't apply on the anon forums... are you a jb pilot trying to apply my CoE? classic...

I like your generic definition of profession... applies to the oldest profession...

Why not try and define what is a professional airline pilot....

So since you are anonymous your code of ethics does not apply to you?
How very ethical.

I was pointing out you were violating your own union code of ethics....you know the thing that makes you a professional.

Silly boy... CoE don't apply to the forums! Does the RLA apply here? Does First Amend Free speech? Why CoE?

standing question... what defines a professional airline pilot? Can you do it? Can you quantify it? What makes jetblue pilots professional?

Fine say we are not professional pilots, just do me a favor next time you see one of us tell it to our face.

Having a union does not make you a professional pilot no matter how much you want to think it does.

But since you want more, other than the definition which you like to ignore

A pilot who is continuously learning.
A pilot who puts the welfare of others (crew, passengers), before his own.
A pilot who does the right thing even when no one is watching

That is what I would call a professional pilot and it is very much what a jetblue pilot is and does.

Silly old man.

already done. Will do again.

Actually it does. Not having a union and taking the benefits of the union and thinking you are professional is insidious....

That is cute... I mean like PETA cute....

You've described leadership.... which is a part of professionalism, but it isn't it...

Silly old man.
Of course...

My garbage man (nice guy by the way) is union, is he professional too?

How about the admin staff at ALPA National?
