I'm just commenting on him posting this meme and also starting an entire thread about why not to fly JetBlue. Seems there's a bit of a chip on his shoulder. Maybe I'm just grumpy.

JetBlue got me home yesterday afternoon just fine - even 10 minutes early. Fortunately for me I'm a west coast commuter, but as always, thanks guys for the great ride.

What an embarrassing FAIL. Next time you guys negotiate any kind of work rules/pay, don't do it with those boneheads. Hold out for management who know how to run an airline.

I thought only pilots know how to run an airline!! At least that is what every pilot tells me.

Not at all. But, when management tells passengers "try again next week, as a standby" rather than run an extra section from MCO, it looks bad for our industry and has the potential to get some over eager regulators thinking about a new rule to prevent such abuse.

I figure "caveat emptor." Enjoy industry best the Live TV product & avoid outsourced RJ's, but know, if the stuff hits the fan, options are limited.

It is my personal opinion that the market response to Alaska Airlines is in part due to their alliances with Middle Eastern carriers. It is likely that Jet Blue will find itself in the crosshairs of Continental, American and to a lesser extent Delta ... not that they are really after Jet Blue, but rather as a respose to the threat posed by the revenue ravinous operations coming from the Middle East.

The hits just keep coming for my carrier as well. Last night the fuel valves through which flow the jet a for the Atlanta Airport froze shut somewhere under the ramp. World's busiest hub with nothing but a couple of trucks ... ugh oh.

No, the issue is when you don't have a professional cadre of pilots at your airline to interact with the FAA/govt when you airline completely meltsdown..... then you aren't around to defend yourself when management blames the pilots...

then the rest of us, have to explain to the the FAA what is and isn't true when they try and make changes that effect all of us.....

TOOLs? jetblue pilots.

I may not be able to tell the difference between a B6 crew room and Harbor Freight, but that's just not nice :D
