Are regionals pilots professionals? Because I don't contribute as much dues dollars as a fedex CA......yet I get the same protections and services.

Just for LNL's entertainment, how about an AFA member? Professional?

Let's see:
-None of these 4 jobs mentioned require even a GED
-All require some amount of special training
-All have union / non-union opportunities

So, that brings us back to the hat.

Thanks for playing, you've been a great contestant!

Awww, I get mentioned in a post... Just for the record, a GED IS a requirement to be a FA....and many FAs have college degrees and thensome. Doesn't make no never mind to me, though, as I happen to make more than many regional FOs, so....

Sorry kitten. Your airline may require at least a GED (I'm sure all do), but the FAA does not. Snarge called you unprofessional, not me. The whole point was that Snarge thinks union affiliation is required to be a "professional" so I brought up my union garbage man as an example of a non professional union member. Conversely, I'm sure there are at least a handful of non-union doctors and lawyers that would also disagree with the Snarge.

I gave it to you.
It does not matter since only you think you have the right to define what it is.
Maybe you should leave United and go get a job with MSNBC, they would like the way you think.

And I told you that was leadership....

bottom line is, when management at a non union carriers decides to pilot push.... said pilots don't push back. Losers: pilots, FAs and passengers. Winners: stockholders.

Is the fog lifting?
