I figure "caveat emptor." Enjoy industry best the Live TV product & avoid outsourced RJ's, but know, if the stuff hits the fan, options are limited.

It is my personal opinion that the market response to Alaska Airlines is in part due to their alliances with Middle Eastern carriers. It is likely that Jet Blue will find itself in the crosshairs of Continental, American and to a lesser extent Delta ... not that they are really after Jet Blue, but rather as a respose to the threat posed by the revenue ravinous operations coming from the Middle East.

The hits just keep coming for my carrier as well. Last night the fuel valves through which flow the jet a for the Atlanta Airport froze shut somewhere under the ramp. World's busiest hub with nothing but a couple of trucks ... ugh oh.

That's more like it! I had to look up "caveat emptor". So the train is back on the tracks. Not sure if it was your train or mine that derailed. Probably mine since I'm the one looking up definitions. ;)

How about the admin staff at ALPA National?

It's good that you are willing to learn... and show an interest in maturing...

no

and

no.

Do you want to know why? Or do you want to think about it?

Reductio ad absurdum.

Just for LNL's entertainment, how about an AFA member? Professional?

Let's see:
-None of these 4 jobs mentioned require even a GED
-All require some amount of special training
-All have union / non-union opportunities

So, that brings us back to the hat.

Thanks for playing, you've been a great contestant!

Classic.. JB pilot comparing himself and arguing that garbage men (aircraft cleaners) and FAs are professional... so, therefore so are we....

Can't make this up!

First off, I don't work for jetBlew, I'm a fully "professional", ALPAtized pilot.
Second, regarding garbage men, I refer you back to Reductio ad absurdum.
Third, (and I'll type really slow so you can keep up) It's YOUR assertion that union affiliation is what makes the professional - I disagree.

Fair enough that you disagree. Why.
