how old is the youngest pilot at your airline
I wanted to see how young is the youngest pilot at each airline. At my regional airline we have someone who's 22 with a restricted ATP. I'm sure regionals will have younger pilots than the majors so I'd really like to see how old is the youngest pilot at your major so please write the age and hire date of that pilot and if anyone can come on now and beat them to retire as the number one pilot

How do you know? In 1995 there were several of us hired at NWA in the 25-26 year old range. The 2 junior guys in my class were 25 and had over 5000TT, between 1000-1500 turbine PIC and the 4 year degree. I just flew with a 2010 hire at Delta that was 29. Hired at 25 with 6000 hours or so.

Put yourself in for Tool of the Day!
The three youngest guys in my Delta new hire class were ages 24, 26, 26.5 and they also had the most total time, between 3,500-5,500 hrs, and 90% of it was spent operating in and out of the busiest airports in the world, ORD, ATL, JFK, LGA, etc. in the worst weather.
The fighter guys in my class had about 1,200 TT, most of it day VFR in an empty pattern.
How landing a single engine jet on a boat qualifies you to fly passengers in/out of O'Hare in a blizzard is beyond me.

Bitter much?
I was hired at UA when I was 28 with 6500 TT and 2200 PIC, and I was the Director of Training for a 135 in my early 20s.
Tell me what experience did I not have?
Youngest at UA that I know of was hired in July and is 25. I haven't seen a seniority list since the SLI came out and no new hires were on that on list.
