Yea. Their NC sold the pilot group down the river. I thought that only happened at the regional ranks.

Dam shame too. Really had a chance to do something historic.

^^^^^opinion only.

Let's leave the TA discussion on the TA threads. This is about hiring options for pilots trying to evaluate UAL and DAL.

Piling on, KEEP THE TA DISCUSSION OUT.

But if anyone is fooling themselves that IF the TA passes the applicant pool is going to shrink and/or a new hire is going to regret their choice is fooling themselves. They're also being a pretty severe drama queen.

Rewind to 2005-2006 when CAL was the ONLY legacy hiring. NO SHORTAGE OF APPLICANTS.

Rewind not as far to 2007-2008. CAL, UAL, NWA, USAir, and DAL are hiring.

The first 4 have the crappiest CBA's of the 5. Terrible first year, and second, and third year pay, among other things. Anyone foolish enough to think there was shortage is AGAIN fooling themselves.

Back to the question, DO WHAT'S BEST FOR YOU.

We like to think of things as option A, B, and C.

But if those letters correspond to the "Big 3", it's now simply a matter of being either A+, A, or A-. And even then, subjective/relative to one's OWN NEEDS and situation. It's a first world problem.
