If I were purchasing a coach ticket I would rather fly Jet Blue or Virgin than DAL.

Delta does have an awesome lie flat service for Transcons out of JFK to LAX and SFO. If we start that out of BOS I don't think Jet Blue could compete for those type of customers.

Actually JetBlue has lie flat transcons out of JFK and I would guess at some point soon out of BOS. And do I really need to rehash my many DAL first/business experiences through the years (as a normal paying customer) and the complete lack of any quality customer service from the FA's. If JetBlue expands it's MINT service JetBlue wins until DAL admit's it needs to put most of it's FA's out to the pasture and provide some training beyond just the safety training and how to throw peanuts at customers. Besides, why would someone pay twice for an equal product minus the quality customer service they receive in MINT.

Shhhh! That doesn't fit with the 'Alaska and JetBlue are evil" narrative.

Because MINT service only gets me as far as BOS or the west coast. Delta service takes me to Europe or Asia.

Can't comment on Jb service. Ours is hit or miss. Either great or average to below average. Who do you work for again?

Still with sub-par service for even longer time.

Exactly. Hit or miss, mostly miss. I'm speaking of this from a customer service standpoint who has flown DAL for many yrs in First/Business from a non-flying career.

A little birdie told me to look for a buyout of Sun Country by Alaska with a MSP base by the end of the year. My spies also tell me a QX STL base is in our future with 35-50 E190's operated out of STL to east coast destinations. You heard it here first.

Gee, sounds like the comment that a certain former instructor made in response to the SKYW E-175 article on the company website.
