Several jars of peanut butter. Good walking shoes. Camelback. Sunscreen. Large hat. Sun glasses. Hunting knifes. Fire starters. Mess kit. Para cord(already mentioned). Water purification system. Compass. Maps.
Too much stuff to keep in your bag. FedEx it between layover hotels. Two go bags is actually better because of FedEx shipping time. Ship bag #1 to first layover. Bag #2 goes to second city. Leaving the first layover city you ship it to city #3.

A Prepper Pilot thread. 2 Funny.
Shelter in place. Call Dominos and when the delivery guy comes to your room, pay him extra to get a case of beer. All set for survival food - pizza and beer.
If the cable TV in the hotel doesn't work and football games are on, you'll have to risk death and find the nearest sports bar. While there, supplement your diet with nachos and shots.

You can't just store a "go bag" at the hotel! What if someone rummages through it and snags your peanut butter?!?
So one should also rent out a U-Store It storage locker located ideally within walking distance to your layover hotel. Also keep a kerosene heater and possibly some fishing supplies, because you never know.
You never ever know.
Ever.

Yeah, but what if my 3rd layover city is actually also my first one?

You guys don't just pre-po stuff? I have bags of currencies, running shoes, prepaid cells, passports, local O-3 insignia, and crossword puzzles stashed in every major city I overnight in throughout Europe and east Asia. MPM (Montana Pilots Militia) network has me covered domestically.
