We will see what comes out. I can see some codeshare relief in foreign countries (no 5th freedom) but no domestic or cross border. I'm not the king, of course. Take 2 minutes and help your fellow pilots out. Or don't, if you think that is good for you and yours.

You can't see it now, but airlines are going to have to bend to me in the future, not the other way around. It's probably just the way you gen-x folks have been brought up and the type of environment you have been accustomed too working in, ie doing as you are told and 'fly it but grieve it later' stuff, but business as usual isn't going to apply to our generation as you old guys start leaving en-masse. If the airlines want to survive into the next 50 years, they are going to have to change the way they do things. This change has already started in Corporate America.

Hahahahah! I have several family members in high ranking positions in Fortune 500 companies, all have NUMEROUS stories of firing, and denying employment to entitled millennials, and not just in ones and twos. There is also no shortage of talent to replace them who don't suck. Good luck with that attitude. Make sure to tell your parents they didn't do you any favors, you're not special, and you're not always a winner.

Parents calling to complain snowflake didn't get hired, their pay is too low, they received a poor quarterly review. Kids not able to show up on time, need hours off for yoga/flute lessons, company NEEDS to provide a ride because my bus pass doubled in price..... I can go on and on. You can't make his crap up, and you sound just like them. "I took a job a PSA and didn't get hired by a major yet so screw ALPA I'll just do the next easiest thing to scabbing."

You missed the emphasis on repetitiveness. Two head up hiring new talent for two big insurance and Wall Street financial firms, one because he's a firm partner and takes it serious. College grads, interns, soon to be grads. It's not one off, I could write a book just off of their stories.

E-mail won't get anything done. Twitter won't get anything done. What will it take for our union leaders to visit the news outlets, talk to reporters, and publish editorials in the national papers? What will it take for them to plant themselves in the DOT Secretary's office? I haven't seen any of them on CNBC or Fox Business. If this is #1, where are the #1 actions?

Such fragmentation. How's about once... at least once becoming a cohesive group... perhaps a 100,000 airline employee march on Wahsington. Don the uniforms, travel to DC and converge on the Capitol. Bring pickets and leaflets. I've not read one poster asking the rest of the team that's effect by NAI approval... not limited to FAs and Mechanics have just as much to lose as pilots.
You want your message publicized??? Push back from the computers, drop the mobile devises, get your acts together as one... One team with a goal for one and all.

If not, I think I will. Everything else in current politics seems decided not by debate and reason, but mass appeal in the media.
Might as well steer it to our advantage.
