Has anyone else had a problem accessing the medxpress.faa.gov website?

Yes - they now have note on the site saying it's having problems and to not call them.

When I saw the .gov part I should have known it wouldn't work and they are unavailable to help.

It didn't work all day yesterday. It started working for me this morning at 7:30 AM Eastern

This is why I never wait until the last minute. The gubmint would not make up any lost pay if they fail to provide you the opportunity to renew your medical.

******* idiots.

I still think a medical certification for any aircraft requiring more than one flightdeck crewmember is a complete waste of time and money!

I disagree, then you could have two ticking time bombs flying together.
