Hmm, I wonder if that has anything to do with the high number of violation?
All that money spent, and they got nothing in return.
This guy needs to get out of here, this is the most troll person ever. Please do us all a favor and leave.

Do you really think he works here? It is apparent to me he is the guy who was fired. He speaks about him in third person but he knows way too many details and shifts with his telling of the story.

Default Pass rate at Mesa

Does anyone have any numbers of pass fail ratios at Mesa initial training. I've never flown a jet and it's a bit intimidating knowing that there may be a high failure rate. Through experience, I was always under the impression and belief that you are only as good as your instructor. There are as always exceptions to the rules though.

All regionals have a failure rate. And, none of them publish it. The FAA would be pretty suspicious if everyone passed.

As far as my class, we lost about 30% of the guys - all after the systems class was complete. My buddy at SkyWest said they lost about 10-20% out of his class.

Not true. I know a guy at Delta hired with a cocaine-related felony. I know at least 3 people with DUI convictions who work for SWA. I sincerely doubt that Mesa’s standard is higher than theirs. Btw....it’s wouldn’t HAVE.....not OF.

Irregardless of my spelling or syntax, my points were valid but thanks anyway Internet Nazi Grammar Police. BTW, "antidotally" is spelled correctly, it was just the wrong word. You would think a ranking member of the INGP would know that.

PS, I know "irregardless is incorrect, I said that just to get you going again.

That’s the point. I allow myself to be sucked down into the muck. Misplaced blame.

12 in my class I know of 11 that made it through. The 12th I have no idea about. This really isn’t anywhere near as hard as people make it out to be if you just put forth effort and don’t expect it to be spoon fed to you like you are a grade schooler. Unless of course you are in the 7th grade in which case good on you getting a job offer that young.

Remember for most of your career up to this point when being trained you have been a CUSTOMER even if you flew 135 if you trained at flight safety or something like that you were a CUSTOMER. Here you are being trained as an EMPLOYEE, you job as an EMPLOYEE is to study. As long as you do your job it’s fine.
