Default July 11th class

Hello everyone, I'm starting my training at MESA on July 11th and was wondering if anyone out there has the same class start date. Also for the veterans here, if you could outline what I should expect from the training? Does anyone have the PDF with the First officer flows they might want to share? Thanks in advance.

Yes, but in the end it was chosen for me. I'm currently flying Saab 340's, so to be honest, any jet would be a great step and the E-175 is an incredible machine. Why do you ask?

You had a choice, but then you were told which airframe you are going to? That's not a choice, lol. Well, both airplanes are great. So I take it that you are at Silver and want jet time? You wouldn't be the first to do that.

Close, I've been flying Cargo in the Caribbean with a company called IBC, but I see the Silver guys all the time, they seem like a fun operation and they are now moving to the new ATR's. Saab is a great plane, I will miss it for sure. I am excited about the E-175 and IAH base, although from talking with some of the guys & girls on here, I am not too excited about the work schedules...LOL. I will say, with as much bashing as people do of MESA on the blogs, I chose them over Envoy (where I was to have started a month ago) because the people who work there all have good things to say for the most part. Looking forward to being part of the team!

The schedules is part of being junior. I get exactly the schedule I want. On the 175, that takes about a year seniority for an FO and 10 years seniority for a CA. As a CA, most move on before the get decent schedule.
