Default AQP issues?

Are there specific reason(s) why pilots are not successfully completing AQP?

Most likely, the recruiters are not being selective enough.

Not studying, basic stuff. Callouts and placarded limitations.

Placarded limitations, as in not being able to read the placards in front of their heads?

What a stupid answer... This has nothing to do with recruits? We don’t use an AQP program for initial.

Some always make it out to the line, fumble their way an entire year, and prove they learned nothing in that year. Happens everywhere.

I understand the failures happen —- that has nothing to do with recruiting. It has everything to do with the captains building bad habits in their FO’s or not turning bad in to Pro Standards.

Is that on CRJ OR E-Jet side? FO or CA?

It is CA as pilot flying this year on the Ejet. Not properly handling an emergency, such as not getting a QRH checklist complete, is an example for both pilots to fail the AQP.

I thought you couldn’t fail AQP. What happens if you unsat something? TRB? What are people failing on? It sounds like they’re really cracking down. Is it one particular instructor?
