Well that gives me some hope/encouragement. Thanks.

[QUOTE=Flyboy68;2775716]I've been out of flying for a while, like 18 years. But I have my 1st class medical and getting current. 4700 TT, 2900 PIC, 1200 TSIC.[/QUOTE

Try Southern Airlines, Kalitta Charters or Kalitta Chatters II, Miami air or Swift Air. with your time, that will be best.

Doesn't Kalitta require some TPIC?

You’ve been out of the game a while I would probably do a regional. Plus you get to grab a signing bonus.

That's the plan bud.

Most likely doing a Near-DEC to get back into the groove. I want to avoid this.

There's a few different Kalitta's, but all in the family.
K4 flies the 747, 767, and 777.
K2 is charters.
K4 will not look at you without currency, and yes, they like TPIC.
K2 will not get you into K4.
Quite honestly, a regional is perfect for you to get currency, knock the rust off, and put you in an excellent position with your prior experience to move up.
Flying a 747 at K4, you might get three landings a month if you are lucky, K4 isn't the place to knock off rust.

That's the plan bud. I'm humble enough to realize that jumping into the CA seat after an 18 year layoff is not prudent.

Thanks.

So, if I hired on at Mesa, I'd be an FO on the CRJ or the E175 if I choose IAH or DFW?

How long to upgrade in either (I already have >1200 SIC Part 121), and then where would I likely be based after upgrade?

How is seniority determined in class, age or SSN?

Thanks.
