I reported at the jet in PHL to start a trip. F/A didn't show. After about 30 minutes they finally figured out she'd quit over a week earlier. Had to wait over an hour for a reserve F/A to show. I got more stories like that but you get the idea.

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to see what ya'll think about MESA airlines? I'm an Australian looking to come over on the E3 Visa program and I'm having a hard time picking an airline (options include MESA, XJT, GoJet, TSA, Commutair, Air Wisconsin).
Looking through page after page after page on the forums (a dangerous place to be looking for advice ), MESA seems to take a beating a lot of the time, but people never really give a reason as to why, and that's what I'm curious to find out. What specific reason(s) do people have to try and avoid MESA? What reasons would there be to pick MESA?
Compared to Aus, I'm not concerned with aircraft size or base, it's a lot better than the opportunities back home, so if there is a reason to pick another airline over MESA, I'd be curious as to why.
Appreciate your time!

Not the case it was few years back. We flunk people, and they go to other airlines. We pass each other flunkies around. I know a few that flunked here now at PSA and GoJet. This is not the same come here get a certificate with a breeze. Different people in training department and new check airmen and instructors. Come here prepared and study and you will be fine, come here expecting a pass you will be disappointed and looking for a job.

I have to ask ... it’s way up there. How does that stab get a damaged rib?

Didn't know what was causing it. A week later I asked one of the mechanics about it, he said it turned out to be a damaged rib. This was back when we had the CLT base.
