My end goal is to fly for United one day and I am looking for a regional that can get me there quicker. This is a very tough decision on what regional to choose from also one you can get hired for. Mesa pays the lowest but the only good thing is you fly a lot.
Id highly recommend endeavor over Mesa. Right now you’re looking at 3-4 years for upgrade. People say we’ll the ejet is doing upgrades, true but it’s not just ejet FOs bidding for the ejet. You have 5 and 6 year plus crj FOs taking half the ejet upgrade classes. So you gotta wait for all those guys to upgrade, by that time you probably coulda flowed or close to flowing to delta. I don’t mean to sound like I’m telling you what to do, but Mesa is a joke right now. 3 years ago it was a great place. Today not so much. We are easily the worst regional right now. Somehow we’re still in business.

Also, I don’t know who needs to hear this, but 20 below 120 is not a call out. Neither is starter cutout.

Doesn’t hurt to anything either. Y’all die on the weirdest hills and do just as much weird non-standard stuff.

It sounds nice but isn’t sop. I very rarely say anything about it. Guys that say clear right every 2 minutes are annoying too. Then they don’t say it when lining up on a runway lol

It’s not about doing things that “don’t hurt”. That’s one of the dumber arguments that exist. But considering your equating a PSA to dying on a hill for something is pretty extreme, I’m guessing you’re one of the culprits. I’m also guessing you brief full ILS’s on visual days because “it doesn’t hurt”.

My favorite of the week was a guy who identified a localizer using the Morse code on a visual day and made sure to tell me it was correct as part of his brief.

Default CBA Updates?

I heard from a recruiter in July that CBA's were getting finalized beginning of Nov that would include new pay rates ... any truth to that?

We got an email yesterday I think that kinda hinted at the union being almost ready to give the company a proposal. We don’t know what the changes are, and that would be the first proposal presented. They said there’s meetings scheduled through December. Hopefully it comes soon but I don’t know how many are expecting it to.

What's up with these emails regarding the "mandatory" vaccine surveys? I had a good laugh at the "prefer not to answer option" but you're not allowed to select that option on the survey.
