The only other airline I am leaning towards is Endeavor. They have 4 years of captain upgrade time and like everybody else, I also want to fly for legacy carriers one day without spending 6-7 years at a regional. I know Mesa has a lot of problems but the only thing that attracted me towards Mesa was a lot of pilots say they fly 1000 hours in a year on the EJET side which means you can upgrade sooner and finally go to United or something. My end goal is to fly for United one day and I am looking for a regional that can get me there quicker. This is a very tough decision on what regional to choose from also one you can get hired for. Mesa pays the lowest but the only good thing is you fly a lot.

It sounds nice but isn’t sop. I very rarely say anything about it. Guys that say clear right every 2 minutes are annoying too. Then they don’t say it when lining up on a runway lol

It’s not about doing things that “don’t hurt”. That’s one of the dumber arguments that exist. But considering your equating a PSA to dying on a hill for something is pretty extreme, I’m guessing you’re one of the culprits. I’m also guessing you brief full ILS’s on visual days because “it doesn’t hurt”.

My favorite of the week was a guy who identified a localizer using the Morse code on a visual day and made sure to tell me it was correct as part of his brief.

We got an email yesterday I think that kinda hinted at the union being almost ready to give the company a proposal. We don’t know what the changes are, and that would be the first proposal presented. They said there’s meetings scheduled through December. Hopefully it comes soon but I don’t know how many are expecting it to.
