The prelim never matches the final award. It’s usually not even close. The prelim is a “wake up and change your bid” email.

They are as hard to come by as cargo 737s. ABX has the market cornered. I don’t see this happening in my lifetime.

Going to ABX not a bad plan. That’ll happen faster than 767s coming to Mesa.

I’m nearly certain he means the opposite of what he says, intentionally, and when you look at it from that point of view his posts are spot on. I think it’s top tier

point in case:
The best thing we can do now is to stay positive, AA and UA will catch on to our positivity. Is the company where we want it? No. Is pay where we want it? No. Is QOL where we want it? No. Is morale where we want it? No. Is our maintenance department where we want it? No. Are contract negotiations where we want them? No.

yeah they definitely cleaned a lot of it up, but still…
ISA limit for takeoff/landing is 35°.. then below that it says 40°.. a few pages later, it says the CF34-8C5 engines’ limitation is 35° ..

It says if we’re told to “line up and wait,” we’re supposed to turn on all exterior lights, “except taxi/landing lights.” Then it says it’s referencing SAFO 11004 .. so I google that, and it says “if cleared to line up and wait, turn on all lights except landing lights.” .. so- taxi lights should be on or off??!!

Ladies and gentlemen from the flight deck, due to the lack of interest/pay/flexibility/happiness/QOL/you name it in the airlines, it it time for me to retire. It’s been fun, and the only reason I stuck around was for the crews (I guess the flight benefits for my family too, but post covid those are worthless now). I hope the new contract goes in y’all’s favor but I’m not gonna stick around and wait. Best of luck to everyone! Keep the faith.
