This is already complied with through Pria. Nothing more than an expense for the company.

It’s not otherwise the atlas crash wouldn’t have happened. Pria isn’t a centralized database we all thought it was. This rule makes it happen. Guys can’t leave airlines they flunked out of off of their applications anymore.

This has a lot of potential for abuse. Employers should have a very limited amount of info the can submit. Dates of employment, pass/fail of required tests, resigned or fired. HR type non flying issues have no place in this database. Watch for lots of chitty 135 operators will use this as a retaliatory tool.

O very much so doubt a regional will use that to get revenge on pilots. The regional wants you to get a job elsewhere just as much as you do. They want to replace you with a worker on the bottom of the pay scale. You having skeletons they placed in the closet = having more higher longevity pilots which = a less cost competitive airline. As Expressjet taught us an older pilot group at a regional can be the difference between life and death for a company.
